Rona isn't going to stop us from having a Show - we're just moving it online!

We are SO excited to be able to move our show online for a virtual event! It may not be the traditional show we all know & love, but it's still some sort of show experience in 2020. And thanks to some passionate committee members, we are super fortunate to be able to bring this online event to live.

A little unsure how this whole thing works? Don't worry, it's pretty easy!

Unfortunately, NO Horse Events.

Step 1: Download the Schedule

We cannot stress this enough - PLEASE READ THE SCHEDULE CAREFULLY.

Step 2: Photograph Your Entries

Please check the photo requirements for each section - most livestock sections also require a 20-30 second video.

While this isn't a photography competition, please make sure photos are clear and in focus.

For livestock exhibits, please try not to include people in your photos, especially those under the age of 18. For pavilion exhibits, please do not include any photos of the exhibitor with exhibit.

Step 3: Submit Entries

ALL ENTRIES CLOSE 6:00pm SUNDAY, 30 AUGUST 2020 - LATE ENTRIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
LIVESTOCK ENTRIES
All entries MUST be emailed to finleyshowentries@gmail.com
  1. One exhibit per email - if you are entering multiple classes, you will have to email each entry individually.
  2. SUBJECT LINE: Section & Exhibitors Name (e.g. Beef Cattle - AJ Watkins)
  3. EMAIL BODY: Exhibitors Name, Section, Class, Breed of Animal & Animal Age (e.g. AJ Watkins, Beef Cattle, BC1, Poll Hereford, 13 months)
  4. ATTACHMENTS: Photos and video (see specific section requirements)
PAVILION ENTRIES
  1. Complete an entry form and email it to finleyshowentries@gmail.com - ONE PERSON PER FORM
  2. Once received, you will be forwarded a link to upload ALL you entries to - please do each entrant individually if uploading for multiple people
  3. Where possible, please rename each file to reflect the section/class you're entering - especially important for Photography (S)

Step 4: Fill In Time With Some Colouring

Once entries have been submitted, we'll get to working on all the behind the scenes stuff!

This is the perfect time to get some colouring done with our TWO 2020 Colouring Competitions - that's right, we've got the big kids covered as well!

Scan or photo of completed colouring competition to be emailed to finleyshowentries@gmail.com by 6:00pm Sunday, 30 August.

Step 5: Wait For The Results

Judging will take place during the first week of September, with results announced here and on our social media pages at 12noon, Finley Show Day - Sunday, 6 September 2020!

All exhibit photos will be uploaded here and on our Facebook page between 3-5 September - we will post a timetable of which day certain sections/classes will be posted so you can keep an eye out for when your entries will be online!

AND, in the week after the Show, placegetters will get a pretty snazzy placecard in their email inbox, ready to print and display on the fridge!
