The Finley Showgrounds and Sporting Complex is run by a management committee, under the Berrigan Shire Council, consisting of representatives from the various community groups using the ground.

Can I camp on the Showgrounds? Can I come on [insert date]?
YES! Camping is permitted at the showgrounds, and you don't even have to book a site!
PLEASE NOTE: there are no toilet and shower facilities as the amenities are closed. Camping areas have power & water.
How long can I camp for?
The maximum stay is 72 hours.
How much does it cost to camp?
What if I have horses or livestock?
Those traveling with horses and livestock are allowed to camp free of charge. Feel free to use the stables, but do make sure they are clean before you leave. There are concrete pits located near the stables, please use them.
Are the grounds ever closed to camping?
Please note that this is an active showgrounds and events are regularly held on various areas of the grounds. While this will not impact the camping area (expect in the case of the Finley Sheep Dog Trials on the June long weekend), it is something you need to keep in mind. There are currently two instances where the grounds are closed to camping for several days:
